In the 10 months that I have been the Appointed Assessor I have used my decades of
management and administrative experience to build a strong management team of experienced appraising professionals who are dedicated to improving the daily activities of the ofﬁce and it's relationship with the public it serves.

I believe the fair and equitable application of assessment methods throughout the county is not only a statutory duty but a fundamental principle of professional conduct. Although it is not the duty of the Assessor to calculate and levy taxes, the assessment values assigned by the Assessor are a large factor in determining tax liability. Property owners are owed courteous and professional consideration of their concerns and the conﬁdence that their property is being assessed fairly.
